Cool Heat
This is a watercolor illustration of an original formalwear design using a live model. The painting was done on 140lb, gray colored, cold-press cotton paper, using Grumbacher Artist's watercolor and sable brushes. Note the combination of oil-like effects with the traditional wash technique. The design should be constructed in silk charmeuse, cut on the bias. |
