Classically trained artist and freelance graphic designer of more than eighteen years experience, including over three years of Internet graphic design and webmastering. BPS in Design with a minor in Art from Memphis State University, 1989. Graduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia in Graphic Design with a concentration in Internet graphic design and webmastering, including a one year internship at the UMC Health Sciences Center, Creative Services. Statement of Qualifications:
BA in magazine journalism from Memphis State University, 1989, summa cum laude with university honors. MA in journalism with a concentration in magazines, University of Missouri-Columbia, 1994. Eight years professional experience proofreading, copy editing, and substantive/manuscript editing both technical and general interest articles for magazines and journals. Experience with editing Web sites for grammar and content, including making corrections to html and graphics files.
Internet Programming Intern(s)
Statement of Qualifications:
Student interns will be well grounded in basic programming and have completed at least two semesters specifically of Internet programming.
Details:
Design services are a negotiable hourly fee. There is a $150 fee which must be paid before work begins; however, this fee will be applied toward the total of the first bill. Fee negotiations are based on the amount time that will be applied to the website. The more time that be required, the lower the negotiated hourly fee for design services. All website development will be credited to myself and my associates. Links and banners will be provided from my website and/or my associates' websites to your site in exchange for similar links and banners from your site. Your site will be spidered through fifteen (15) major search engines at no additional cost. All original artwork created for your website may be used exclusively for your websites. All design services are billed on the next nearest quarter hour, after the first hour. Editing services are: $20 per hour for proofreading; $65 per hour for substantive editing; all editing services are billed on the next nearest half hour, after the first hour.
